Building a World Where Every Person on the Spectrum Belongs

A family-founded nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with autism through fundraising, advocacy, and the power of community.

More Than a Nonprofit.

A Family's Purpose.

Building People And Communities was born from something deeply personal. A family's love, a community's support, and a belief that small beginnings can lead to big change.

Founded in 2025 by Ashley and Cortney Duncan alongside Treasurer Josh Hines, BPAC exists to make a real and lasting difference for individuals on the autism spectrum and the families, caregivers, and programs that support them.

We do this by raising funds, raising awareness, and building the kind of community where everyone is seen, supported, and celebrated.

How We Make a Difference

Fundraising

Every dollar we raise goes directly to autism programs and organizations that make a meaningful difference.

Advocacy

We believe awareness leads to acceptance, and acceptance leads to inclusion. One conversation, one event, one community at a time.

Community Engagement

BPAC is built on partnerships with families, businesses, volunteers, and community members who share our vision of a more inclusive world.

Tee Up for a Greater Cause

Join us for the CADCO Construction Annual Autism Awareness Golf Tournament

A day where community, competition, and compassion come together on the course. All proceeds go directly to autism programs and initiatives that change lives.

Making A Real Difference

Just last year, BPAC donated $30,000 to the Autism Society of NC and donated a scholarship to the Fusion Scholarship Fund for a student on the spectrum to attend Fusion Academy of Raleigh.

Ready to Make a Difference?

You don't have to be on the course to be part of the team. BPAC is always looking for passionate, caring individuals who want to give their time and help grow something meaningful in their community.

Whether it's helping at an event, spreading awareness, or simply showing up — every hand matters here.
